About the Role:

We're seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Dance Instructor to join our team and share the joy of dance with our youngest students (ages 1.5-6). In this role, you'll bring our themed lesson plans to life, creating a fun and engaging learning workplace where children can develop their creativity, coordination, and love for movement. If you have a love for dance, experience working with young children, and a passion for nurturing young talent, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities:

- Instruction: Deliver pre-planned, themed dance lessons to preschool-aged children, incorporating a variety of dance styles (ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap; experience with Aero is a bonus!).
- Classroom Management: Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel safe and supported.
- Communication:



Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and the admin team regarding their child's progress and any studio updates.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other instructors and studio staff to create a cohesive and supportive environment.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to studio policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Experience working with preschool-aged children (e.g., daycare, teaching, coaching).
- Dance experience (minimum 3 years).
- Knowledge of core dance styles (ballet, jazz, hip hop).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a fun and engaging learning environment.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a love for working with children.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- A Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check are required.

Bonus Points:

- Experience with Tap and/or Acrobatics.
- Formal dance training or certification.
