Stantec is seeking an experienced engineer to join the Western Canada Power Delivery team. This position involves designing protection schemes and collaborating with various engineering disciplines. You will play a critical role in developing engineering documentation and leading QA/QC efforts, ensuring optimal designs and adherence to client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create engineering drawings for substations
• Design control room and panel layouts
• Lead preparation of engineering packages
• Conduct QA/QC reviews of deliverables
• Communicate effectively through technical reports
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Eligible for Skilled Engineering registration
• Minimum of 12 years P&C; experience
• Understanding of Canadian Electrical Codes
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed
