Application InformationLocation: Broadway Terrace and Milton HeightsResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers, fire safety, lighting, etc.).Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and tenants.Complete general repairs (carpentry, painting, plumbing, appliance servicing).Maintain grounds and exterior areas (snow removal, lawn care, seasonal upkeep).Monitor safety systems such as fire alarms and emergency lighting.Assist with suite turnovers and inspections for new residents.Coordinate and supervise contractors as needed.Provide courteous and professional service to residents and staff.Be available for on-call emergencies as required.Qualifications2-5 years experience in building or facilities maintenance.Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire panels, mechanical controls).Ability to troubleshoot and complete minor to moderate repairs independently.Fireman Boiler Operator Certificate (required).Valid Class 5 driver's license; additional safetycertifications (WHMIS, First Aid, confined space) are an asset.Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform manual work.Organized, safety-conscious, and a robust problem solver.Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.Comfortable using basic computer programs for work tasks.#J-18808-Ljbffr
