Job Summary

We are seeking an outgoing, friendly and service-oriented produce sales rep to join our sales team. Must be fluent in English and speaks Spanish. Must be able to work in a fast paced workplace and work well under pressure

Duties

- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for fresh produce by leveraging ERP systems and market insights to meet customer demand efficiently.
- Manage vendor relationships through proactive communication, performance evaluations, and negotiations to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply.
- Utilize ERP systems to track inventory levels, process purchase orders, and monitor procurement activities within the supply chain.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to coordinate procurement schedules aligned with production needs and demand forecasts.
- Conduct price analysis and negotiate terms with vendors to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Oversee purchasing activities by ensuring timely order placement, delivery scheduling, and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, vendor performance, pricing agreements, and procurement documentation for audit readiness.

Qualifications





- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing within the produce or food manufacturing industry.
- Strong familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms used for supply chain management.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to produce handling and distribution.
- Excellent vendor management skills with a track record of successful negotiation and relationship building.
- Ability to analyze pricing data, manage MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and develop sourcing strategies that align with business goals.
- Familiarity with supply chain principles, procurement best practices, and ERP system integration.
- Effective communication skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
