From preventative maintenance to repairs and emergency response, your work will directly contribute to creating a welcoming environment where seniors can thrive.What You’ll DoMaintain Protected & Functional SpacesPerform preventative maintenance and routine repairs for buildings, grounds, and equipmentRespond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situationsComplete repairs related to plumbing, furniture, electrical, and mechanical systemsSupport the upkeep of resident and common areas to maintain a safe, comfortable environmentSupport Daily OperationsMaintain clean, organized, and safe workspacesParticipate in on-call schedules as needed for emergenciesAssist with assigning and coordinating maintenance tasks when requiredMaintain maintenance records, logs,



and expense documentationPromote Safety & ComplianceIdentify and address potential hazards proactivelyEnsure compliance with safety regulations and organizational policiesContribute to a culture of workplace health and safetyDemonstrate Baptist Housing’s values through respectful and professional interactionsWhat You BringEducation & ExperienceMinimum two years of related experience in building or systems maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceKnowledge of maintenance best practices and building systemsExperience using tools and equipment related to building maintenance and repairWorking knowledge of computers and software for communication and documentationPhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform the duties of the roleSkills & CompetenciesStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectivelyDependable, adaptable, and responsive in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsCommitment to teamwork, safety, and quality workAlignment with Baptist Housing’s values and servant leadership approachWho You AreYou’re practical, dependable, and take pride in keeping things running smoothly.
