About Us

Surface To Surface Inc. manufactures drilling fluid mixing equipment. We've built a strong, capable team — now we're looking for an Operations Manager to bring structure, hands-on problem-solving, and accountability to our day-to-day operations, so issues get resolved at the source rather than landing on the owner's desk.

The Role

We need someone mechanically minded who can walk the floor, understand what's actually happening with our equipment and processes, and make the call — not just relay the problem. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone comfortable getting into the details of welding and engine work when needed, who runs a tidy, organized shop, and who considers the bottom line in every decision.

What You'll Do

- Oversee daily operations and keep production moving without unnecessary bottlenecks
- Own problems through to resolution — troubleshoot mechanical, welding, and equipment issues directly rather than escalating them
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace as the standard, not the exception
- Manage schedules, priorities, and resources with an eye on cost and efficiency
- Support and guide the team,



stepping in on the floor when the job requires it
- Make practical, economically sound decisions on materials, time, and processes
- Be available to stay late or put in extra hours when a job needs to get done

What We're Looking For
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in welding and engine work
- A proven problem solver who takes ownership rather than passing issues up the chain
- Highly organized, with a track record of keeping workspaces tidy and efficient
- Cost-conscious and economically driven in how you approach decisions
- Comfortable in a salaried role with flexible hours, including staying late when needed
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial operations environment preferred
- Leadership experience or the natural ability to earn a team's trust and respect
