MCG Careers, Inc. is seeking urgently Full-time Production Line Workers in Balzac, on behalf of our employer partner (in the Winning Edge-Workplace Training Program), a supplier of quality frozen dough products to Western Canadian bakeries and grocery stores since 1994.

: Once fully trained, through the company's robust 8-week training program, the Production Line Worker assists the team daily by performing various production and plant duties which include monitoring the quality of the product, operating equipment that processes and packages the dough, as well as preparing ingredients and maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and the facility to meet the company standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

- A positive attitude
- Previous production experience is considered an asset
- Basic computer, reading, writing, and mathematical skills

SKILLS & ABILITIES

- Able to work on a rotating shift basis (no graveyard shifts)
- Able to be a team player and effectively communicate with others
- Able to perform the physical requirements of the position

- Able to drive to the plant location in Balzac (not accessible by public transport)

All team members begin their training in a Production Line Worker role for 6 weeks.

Once this basic training is complete individuals continue learning advanced equipment operation and are able to apply for opportunities as they come available such as:

- Shipper / Receiver
- Production Supervisor
- Production Mixer
- Other value-added skills and positions

Winning Edge – Workplace Training Program Requirements To qualify for this opportunity through the Winning Edge Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Must be a Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen.
- Must be unemployed at the time of intake.
- Ready, willing, and able to work full-time (up to 40 hours/week).
- Not a current student or enrolled in any program or school.
