Role Type: 1-month contract w/potential extensions
Role Environment: On-site, Mon-Fri from 9am-5pm
Hourly rate: $20-$25/hr
Day-to-Day
Insight Global is looking for two Production Operators to join a growing advanced recycling company in Burnaby, BC on a short-term contract. These individuals will support the team through a plant restructuring and clean-up process, with the majority of the work focused on disassembling machinery, organizing parts and equipment, moving materials, packing items into containers, and helping prepare the facility for future assembly work. The operators will use basic hand tools such as wrenches to take apart mechanical components, remove items such as racking and boxes, and support general clean-up and organization of the workspace.
This role will also involve moving parts, equipment, and packaged materials throughout the facility, so previous forklift experience is highly preferred. Some materials may include chemicals that are not being opened but will need to be moved or packed safely. PPE and training will be provided, but candidates should be comfortable working in an industrial environment and understand the importance of safety when handling or moving chemical-related materials.
The production operators will work closely with the engineering team, who will provide guidance on what needs to be disassembled, cleaned, organized, and prepared for future assembly. This is not a machine-operating or testing role at this stage. The main focus will be mechanical disassembly, facility organization, packing, cleaning, and assembly support.
