Production Supervisor - ARCO (Weekday Nights)
Reporting To: Production Manager - ARCO
Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM
Position SummaryThe Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations within their assigned department. This role is accountable for achieving safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency targets through strong leadership, workforce management, and continuous improvement. The Supervisor drives performance, develops team capability, and ensures production execution aligns with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities Safety Leadership Leads by example in maintaining a secure and compliant work environment.
Enforces safety policies and actively promote a culture of hazard identification and prevention.
Participates in incident investigations and corrective actions.
Ensures equipment is operated safely and in accordance with standards. Production &
- Delivery Performance Executes daily production plans to meet output and on-time delivery targets.
Monitor workflows, staffing, and capacity to ensure production schedules are achieved.
Proactively identifies and escalates risks that may impact service.
Adjusts resources and priorities in response to changing production demands. Efficiency &
- Cost Control Drives departmental efficiency performance, including labor utilization and throughput.
Monitors productivity metrics and takes corrective actions to close performance gaps.
Minimizes overtime, scrap, downtime, and rework
Understands and manages the cost impact of operational decisions.
Quality Ownership
Ensures adherence to quality standards and work instructions.
Supports root cause analysis for non conformances and customer complaints.
Works cross-functionally to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Reinforces accountability for workmanship and product standards. Team Leadership &
- Development Supervise, coach, and develop production employees to strengthen skills and performance.
Manage attendance, discipline, and employee relations in alignment with company policies.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and open communication.
Continuous Improvement
Identifies process bottlenecks and inefficiencies and lead improvement efforts.
Participates in lean initiatives and process optimization activities, while encouraging employee involvement with problem-solving Equipment &

Collaborates with Managers, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications and Skills Post-secondary education in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, high-mix production environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality systems.
Demonstrated ability to analyze production KPIs and drive performance improvement.
Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to make sound decision under pressure and manage shifting priorities.
