Hardpressed is a design-focused clothing and lifestyle brand that is inspired by the province we call home. We aspire to have a positive impact on our community, our customers and our team. We began as a custom screen printing shop designing and printing for musicians, clothing companies, businesses and non-profits across Canada.

During those years, limited edition runs of our shop merch were released and demand started to grow. Our founders then began to evolve Hardpressed into a retail store with an in-house line of provincial inspired apparel complemented by lifestyle brands they loved.

Job Overview:

We are currently hiring for a temporary full-time position running from the end of September until late December. There may be opportunity for extension at the end of the contract depending on factors including performance.

The Production Support position plays an essential role within our Production team during peak season, maintaining the quality and operational efficiency of our screen-printing workflows. This role keeps shop operations running smoothly by preparing and staging blank garments, assisting active press operators, and carefully handling and processing finished goods. By performing quality inspections and managing post-production details in accordance with daily schedules and standard procedures, you will maintain accurate records and communicate any defects or delays to ensure all jobs remain on schedule.

This role ultimately brings a high level of attention to detail and clear communication to create efficiency and ease as garments transition from blanks, to printed product, to sellable merchandise for retail and online.

Key Responsibilities:

- Production Readiness: Review daily schedules to stage the correct styles, sizes, and colors for active presses so our printers have exactly what they need.




- Quality Control: You will inspect blank garments for defects before printing, and assist in monitoring active print jobs for placement, alignment, and color consistency.
- Post-Production Processing: Count, fold, tag, barcode, and organize finished goods, ensuring everything is ready for storage or shipment.
- Inventory & Records: Update our digital systems with accurate counts and status updates so our team always knows exactly where a job stands.
- Shop Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace. You’ll be responsible for organizing supplies and keeping our staging areas clear.

Schedule & Location:

- Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (Flexibility to support weekends or peak periods is may be required)
- Location: In office at Hardpressed Print Studio
- Reports to: Production & Systems Manager

Contract Length: 3 months

Compensation: $17/hour
