Parksville

Protonify Corporation is seeking two self-motivated and dependable Production Technicians to support the expansion of our processing operations.

The successful candidates will initially work alongside our established day-shift team to receive hands-on training in our equipment, systems, operating procedures, safety requirements and documentation practices. Once fully trained and qualified, they will transition with a supervisor to a new evening shift focused on increasing equipment utilization and overall production capacity.

Because the evening team will operate with less direct support, we are looking for honest, reliable, safety-conscious individuals who take ownership of their work, follow procedures carefully, and communicate problems promptly.

Previous cannabis-industry experience is not required.

Key responsibilities

- Operate production systems safely, consistently and efficiently.

- Complete production, cleaning, inventory, equipment and shift-handover records accurately.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, tools and production areas.
- Handle, identify, weigh, transfer and track production materials.
- Perform routine equipment inspections, basic troubleshooting and authorized maintenance.
- Help establish effective evening-shift routines, communication and workflow.
- Support continuous improvement and increased overall productivity.

- Use the required personal protective equipment, with sufficient manual dexterity for controls, tools, measuring devices and completing records.

Working environment

- Work is predominantly indoors, across production, processing, laboratory-support, utility and warehousing areas.
- The role may involve exposure to machinery, noise, temperature variation, dust, odours, chemical solvents, pressurised or vacuum equipment, and other controlled industrial hazards.
