About the work

We make small-batch food products the old-fashioned way by hand, with real ingredients, in a plant where you can see the whole process from raw material to sealed case. We're growing, and we're hiring people who want steady year-round work rather than a season of it.

This is hands-on production work. You'll rotate through stations as production requirements shift : weighing and blending one day, working the packaging line the next, sanitation on a schedule. Most people find the variety is what makes the day go quickly.

You don't need food manufacturing experience. You do need to show up, work at steadypace with a small team, and care that what leaves the building is a high quality.

What you'll do

- Run production stations across the line — weighing ingredients, staging, blending, operating and cleaning equipment
- Operate the packaging machine to maximize output, minimizing downtime and waste
- Check product, package appearance and package integrity at pack-off against our quality standards
- Spot machine issues early and get them resolved — flag what you can't fix yourself
- Complete scheduled and assigned sanitation tasks, and keep equipment and floors clear of debris and product
- Help receive incoming shipments
- Follow Food Safety requirements, SOPs, GMPs and health and safety policies, every shift
- Back up your co-workers when the line needs it, plus other reasonable duties assigned by the Production Supervisor or Plant Manager

What we're looking for
- Reliable attendance and a willingness to learn the plant from the ground up
- Comfortable working at pace in a team where tasks change day to day
- Good manual dexterity and steady hands
- Able to read and follow written SOPs, safety instructions,



allergen controls and product labels in English, and communicate clearly with supervisors and co-workers — this is a food safety requirement of the role
- Food Handler Certification, or willingness to complete it after hire (we'll cover the cost)
- 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, and food manufacturing experience specifically, are assets — not requirements

Physical requirements This role involves standing for extended periods, repetitive hand and arm motion, and lifting and carrying up to 25 kg. Team lifts and material handling equipment are available for heavier loads.
