We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Movers to join our team. As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in assisting with relocating residential and commercial clients. This position requires physical stamina, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for safely transporting items, ensuring they arrive at their destination in perfect condition.
Duties
- Safely load, transport, and unload furniture, boxes, and various items.
- Protect items using moving blankets, shrink wrap, and appropriate strapping techniques.
- Handle items carefully to prevent damage during moves.
- Communicate professionally with clients on-site to ensure their satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to complete moves efficiently and on schedule.
- Assist with basic furniture assembly and disassembly as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the truck and equipment.
Skills
- Physical strength and stamina, with the ability to lift over 100 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Reliable, punctual, and skilled attitude.
- Experience in moving or general labour is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
