In the Lunar Permanence business unit, you will collaborate with a agile team to conduct detailed thermal and fluid analyses on cryocooler components and systems. You'll optimize designs, derive insights from test data, and communicate analytical results effectively. Your efforts will contribute significantly to the development of infrastructure enabling crew and cargo transport to the lunar surface.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thermal and fluid analyses for cryocoolers
• Communicate design changes and performance impacts
• Review test data for system health
• Author analysis reports for design reviews
• Assist in developing comprehensive test plans
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 5+ years of thermal/fluid system experience
• Proficient in Ansys or equivalent software
• Strong command of heat transfer fundamentals
• U.S. citizenship or lawful resident status
