Role Description The Project Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Vaughan, ON, responsible for supporting the planning and execution of mechanical installation projects. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating project schedules, organizing documentation, tracking progress, and communicating updates to internal teams and external stakeholders.
The role involves preparing reports, assisting with procurement activities, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
The Project
Coordinator will collaborate with project managers,
site supervisors, and subcontractors to resolve issues, manage changes, and keep projects on time and within scope.
Qualifications
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills, including scheduling, documentation management, and task tracking.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities for working with project managers, site teams, clients, and vendors.
- Proficiency with office and project tools (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets, project management software) and accurate data entry skills.
- Basic understanding of construction or mechanical contracting practices, safety requirements, and quality standards is an asset.
- Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to changing project needs in an on-site environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify issues, support resolutions, and maintain reliable project records.
- Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering technology, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in project coordination, construction, or mechanical installations is beneficial.
