Hiring ASAP: Heavy Duty Mechanic (Power Gen / HVAC focus) | Saskatoon, SK | $40–$46/hr

Hi everyone – I’m recruiting with TalentSphere and we need a strong HD Mechanic in Saskatoon right away (ideally starting within the next 3 weeks).

The - Role

We’re looking for an independent, hands-on Heavy Duty Mechanic who is comfortable working both in the shop and as a field tech. You’ll focus on maintenance and repairs of diesel engines, power generation equipment, HVAC systems, and related mechanical systems.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
- Working independently in both shop and on-site/field environments
- Completing service documentation and reporting equipment condition
- Occasional customer-site visits and equipment demonstrations
- Mentoring junior techs when needed

Ideal Candidate





- Robust Heavy Duty mechanical experience (this is the primary focus)
- Power Generation experience is a big plus
- Journeyman or Red Seal certification preferred
- 3–5+ years diagnosing and repairing diesel engines / HD equipment
- Comfortable reading schematics and working independently
- Own the tools for the trade
- Valid driver’s licence with clean abstract
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
