- Conduct environmental site assessments, remediation, and reclamation activities
- Perform environmental monitoring and inspections
- Prepare Acknowledgement of Reclamation (AOR) submissions
- Assist senior team members with data collection, analysis, and interpretation
- Prepare field reports and scientific documentation
- Support the preparation and filing of environmental permit applications
- Engage with clients and stakeholders as directed by senior staff
- Maintain accurate records of field activities and observations
- Support technical reports, data interpretation, and site assessments
- Work under senior professionals’ guidance to ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance

Requirements

- University degree or diploma in environmental science, biology, agrology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting or fieldwork; internships or volunteer experience welcome
- Robust interest in field-based work and hands-on environmental assessments
- Ability to work in remote and challenging field conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document and report field observations
- Basic understanding of environmental regulations in Alberta and Saskatchewan is an asset, but not required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn from senior team members
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently when required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of field equipment
- Ability to perform frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive manual tasks
- Ability to walk long distances over uneven terrain while carrying gear




- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to drive long distances and travel frequently to remote sites
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights as required by projects
- Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators, for extended periods
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended hours
- Understanding of Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan environmental regulations
- Understanding of the oil and gas market and regulatory framework
