Project Manager - Claims & Operations Transformation
Position Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-impact, enterprise-wide claims and operations transformation program.
- This role will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a complex, multi-workstream implementation in partnership with an external vendor, ensuring successful execution from discovery through go-live and operational stabilization.
- The ideal candidate brings extensive experience managing large-scale programs within vendor-led delivery environments and possesses strong expertise in governance, stakeholder management, operational readiness, and executive reporting.
- - This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive outcomes across technology, operations, customer communications, and business teams while maintaining accountability for timelines, risks, and deliverables.

Contract Details
- Contract Duration: 9 Months (Extension and Conversion Possible)

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Program Delivery & Execution
- Lead end-to-end delivery of a complex, multi-workstream transformation program.
- Develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Coordinate activities across technology, operations, communications,
and vendor workstreams.
- Drive program execution from discovery and requirements gathering through implementation, go-live, and stabilization.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives, operational requirements, and technology solutions.
Vendor Management
- Serve as the primary day-to-day liaison with external vendors.
- Manage vendor performance against scope, timelines, deliverables, and contractual commitments.
- Identify and address delivery risks, issues, and performance gaps.
- Facilitate collaboration between internal stakeholders and vendor teams.
- Ensure accountability and successful execution within a vendor-led delivery model.
Governance & Risk Management
- Establish and maintain strong program governance practices.
- Track risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, and escalation paths.
- Facilitate regular status meetings and execution governance forums.
- Prepare executive dashboards, reports, and program updates.
- Drive timely decision-making and resolution of delivery challenges.
Operational Readiness
- Support development and implementation of operational processes and procedures.
- Coordinate creation of SOPs, training materials, job aids, and readiness plans.
- Ensure operational teams are prepared for go-live and ongoing support.
- Conduct readiness assessments and support go/no-go decision processes.
- Align operational processes with technology capabilities and customer experience objectives.
Executive Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Provide clear and actionable updates to executive leadership, including COO and GM-level audiences.
- Present program status, risks, mitigation strategies, and readiness recommendations.
- Drive stakeholder alignment across multiple functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- PMP certification or equivalent project/program management certification.
- 9+ years of project and/or program management experience.
- Proven experience delivering complex, multi-workstream programs involving external vendors.
- Strong experience operating within vendor-led delivery environments.
- Demonstrated success managing end-to-end program lifecycles from discovery through implementation and stabilization.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving technology, operations, and customer-facing teams.

- Experience supporting large-scale transformation and operational implementation programs.
