Role Description The Project Manager is a full-time role based in New Westminster, BC, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The person in this role will lead ICT consulting projects from initiation through delivery, including scope definition, scheduling, resource planning, and budget oversight. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing vendors and subcontractors, tracking milestones, and ensuring that project deliverables meet quality,
technical, and regulatory requirements.
The Project
Manager will prepare project documentation, progress reports, and client communications, and will support procurement activities such as specifications development and bid evaluations. This role also involves identifying risks, implementing mitigation plans, and collaborating with clients to ensure that solutions are aligned with their business objectives and operational needs.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Candidates should possess Inspection-related skills to verify compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and contract requirements.
- Relevant qualifications include experience managing technology or engineering projects, preferably in ICT, transportation, public safety, or telecommunications.
- Post-secondary education in engineering, computer science, business, project management, or a related field is an asset.
- Professional certifications such as PMP are required.
- Robust analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and collaborate with diverse client teams.
