Project Manager / Product Owner — AI Enablement
Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager / Product Owner to lead cross-functional AI initiatives, with a primary focus on the enterprise deployment and enablement of the firm’s end user AI products — Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, Grok and Gemini, together with other AI products as they are introduced (for example Zoom AI Companion). You will drive complex, multi-region programmes from discovery through rollout and adoption,
owning the product backlog and delivery roadmap while ensuring delivery quality, security, compliance and measurable business value. This role sits at the intersection of programme leadership, AI product ownership and stakeholder management across technology and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of AI enablement initiatives from planning and governance through execution, hypercare and handover to operations.
- Act as Product Owner for the AI portfolio: define and prioritise the product backlog, translate business demand into deliverable features, and balance new-feature requests against security, legal and compliance constraints.
- Establish and manage integrated plans, RAID logs, decision records, scope baselines and executive reporting for multi-workstream programmes.
- Coordinate the configuration, deployment and scaling of AI products in alignment with security, compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g. DLP/Purview, access management, SSO/SCIM, audit logging, responsible-AI policies).
- Partner with platform engineering and Level 3 to enable automation, environment readiness and integrations (e.g. M365, Entra ID, ServiceNow, Azure OpenAI) and to track operational SLAs and OKRs.
- Lead risk assessments and design reviews for AI solutions; ensure adherence to governance, data privacy and model-usage guidelines.
- Define adoption and enablement plans, training, communications and success metrics; monitor usage, performance and cost efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
- Keep the business informed and engaged — showcase new features at pace while ensuring they are secure and meet legal and compliance needs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Senior years of technology project/programme management in enterprise environments; proven delivery across multi-country or regulated industries (financial services preferred).
- Direct experience leading enterprise deployments of AI or LLM-based products; strong understanding of generative-AI concepts and enterprise integration patterns.
- Solid grasp of AI governance and risk frameworks; experience implementing security and compliance controls (DLP/Purview, audit logging, access management, encryption).
- Experience of connectors and/or the Power Platform; hands-on familiarity with automation and scripting concepts (e.g. Python, PowerShell) to coordinate with engineering and QA.
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience); PMP and/or Scrum certification is an asset.
- Bilingual (English/French) strongly preferred for Montreal-based stakeholders and partners.
Core Skills
- Programme leadership: planning, prioritisation, dependency management and executive reporting.
- Product ownership: backlog management, acceptance criteria, release planning and value measurement.
- Risk and issue management with solid problem-solving and decision facilitation.
- Stakeholder management and communication; ability to articulate complex technical topics to senior executives.
- Change management and adoption: training materials, communications and stakeholder readiness.
Key Performance Indicators
- On-time, on-budget delivery against agreed scope and quality gates.
- Compliance posture (DLP, access controls, audit logging) and successful governance reviews.
- Adoption and satisfaction metrics (active usage, NPS/CSAT) and realised business outcomes.
- Speed of new-feature enablement to the business, within security and compliance guardrails.
- Cost efficiency (licensing/utilisation optimisation) and continuous-improvement initiatives implemented.
Thank you for your interest in TCS. Candidates that meet the qualifications for this position will be contacted within a 2-week period. We invite you to continue to apply for other opportunities that match your profile.
