Position ScopeThe Nuna Group of Companies is now accepting resumes for experienced740 and 777 Haul Truck Operators with large earthworks construction / mining project experience.We offer:2 week on / 2 week off rotations; 12-hour days; nightsFly in / Fly outCompetitive hourly rate with Overtime pay.Commercial flights and accommodationsare coveredResponsibilitiesSome Key Responsibilities:Conducts pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities.Maintains equipment in good operating condition, reporting, and logging maintenance requirements or concerns.Drive articulated haul trucks along dsignated mine, quarry, or heavy construction routes.Complete production reporting and other documentation as required.Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members.Utilize tow-way radios to coordinate loading and dumping zones with excavators and dispatch.Operate other heavy equipment if required.Follow all site, company and client specific safety protocols, policies, and procedures.QualificationsQualifications:2 Years experience operatingOff Highway Haul Trucks andArticulated Haul Trucks in a road building, mining,



and/or industrial setting.Operating experience on remote Civil Construction/Heavy Construction Project sitesPrevious experience with rotational schedules and remote camp life.Incorporates HS&E; concepts into work activities and demonstrates concern for others health & safety (co-workers, clients, and sub trades).Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment with valuable safety awareness.Experience with radio communications and protocols.SummaryNuna is committed to the principle of employment equity.
