Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Property Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation, safety, and appearance of our facilities. This energetic role involves performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and supporting facility operations to create a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and technical skills, along with leadership qualities to supervise maintenance activities and collaborate effectively with team members.

Duties

- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, machinery, and infrastructure to ensure continuous operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, lighting fixtures, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control building automation systems for energy efficiency and safety.
- Conduct welding repairs, metal fabrication, and other mechanical repairs as needed to maintain property integrity.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software to schedule work orders, track maintenance activities, and document repairs.




- Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards are met and work is completed efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant or occupant concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a focus on building systems.
- Supervising experience in a maintenance or facilities setting is highly desirable.
- Strong electrical experience with knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical codes.
- Mechanical knowledge including HVAC systems, plumbing, welding techniques, and general repair skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective team collaboration and customer service delivery.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to supervise teams or projects effectively.
