Full-Time Property Caretaker / Building Maintenance Worker Position: Property Caretaker / Building Maintenance Worker Employment Type: Permanent, Full time Hours: 40 hours per week Wage: $28.00 per hour Work Location: Multiple residential properties near Bashaw, Alberta About the Position We are seeking a dependable, trustworthy and self-motivated Property Caretaker to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of three privately owned residential properties near Bashaw, Alberta. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working independently and takes pride in maintaining residential properties to a high standard. The successful candidate will be responsible for interior cleaning, outdoor property maintenance, minor repairs, equipment maintenance, and assisting with various property-related tasks.

Because the property owner visits only periodically, the successful candidate must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of integrity, reliability and attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities • Perform detailed cleaning and sanitization of residential properties, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and common areas.

- Maintain all properties in a clean, safe and presentable condition.
- Perform lawn mowing, trimming, weed control and seasonal yard maintenance.
- Care for trees,



shrubs and landscaped areas.
- Operate and maintain lawn mowers, trimmers, pressure washers and other property maintenance equipment.
- Perform minor maintenance and repair tasks around the properties.
- Inspect the properties regularly and report maintenance issues requiring specialized repairs.
- Maintain outdoor walkways, driveways and surrounding grounds.
- Run errands including grocery shopping and purchasing household supplies when required.
- Assist with miscellaneous projects and general property upkeep as assigned.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures while performing assigned duties.

Requirements • Secondary school completion.

- Previous experience in property maintenance, building maintenance, housekeeping, landscaping or a related occupation is considered an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Reliable personal vehicle.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, prolonged standing and performing outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Comfortable working around dogs.
- Honest, dependable and trustworthy.
