This position requires candidates with mining experience and a strong safety mindset in tough conditions. You’ll support efficient blasting operations while working a rotational schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in blasting operations at the mine site
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations
• Collaborate with the team in rugged environments
• Operate safely within a 12-hour shift schedule
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• 3 years of open-pit mining experience
• Knowledge of blasting standards and explosives
• Physically fit for heavy lifting and rugged terrain
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
