We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Public Speaking Teacher to inspire and empower K-12 students to develop confident communication skills. In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a supportive learning environment, and guide students through the fundamentals of effective speaking, presentation techniques, and active listening. Your enthusiasm will motivate students to overcome stage fright, articulate their ideas clearly, and build self-assurance that extends beyond the classroom.

Responsibilities

- Design and deliver comprehensive public speaking lessons tailored to various age groups within K-12 education.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages participation, confidence, and respectful communication among students.
- Teach core skills such as speech organization, voice modulation, body language, audience engagement, and handling questions.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their presentation techniques and build self-confidence.




- Incorporate interactive activities like debates, speech competitions, role-playing exercises, and peer evaluations to enhance learning experiences.
- Assess student progress regularly and maintain detailed records of attendance, participation, and skill development.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student growth in communication abilities.

- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage diverse student populations effectively.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
