We are currently looking for a QA Automation Engineer to work on the banking project. This is a consulting job and the client is one of the major banks.
Work Model: Hybrid – 2 days onsite in Toronto
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Python automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
- Test RESTful APIs using Postman and validate JSON responses.
- Execute SQL queries to verify backend data accuracy and ETL batch processes.
- Log defects, conduct regression testing, and support CI/CD pipeline runs.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in QA and test automation.
- Solid Python scripting skills for test automation.
- Ability to write SQL queries for data verification.
- Hands-on REST API testing experience with Postman .
- Exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Familiarity with Agile, Jira, Git, or CI/CD pipelines as an asset.
