What You’ll Do

As a key member of the Operations team, you’ll help shape health and wellness outcomes for people around the world.

In this role, you will:

The QA Coordinator will support all Quality Systems to ensure quality manufacturing of products as defined by current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Provide assistance to other departments concerning quality and GMP issues.Ensure appropriate compliance to all relevant regulatory requirements. Accountable for timely release of materials and products to cGMP standards. Meet Jamieson Wellness (JWEL) Quality standards.

Specific Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Act as the Qualified Person for product release in accordance with Health Canada, GMP, and WHO requirements.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with Valuable Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and company quality standards.
- Utilize ERP, LIMS, QMS, and related systems to support daily quality operations.
- Review batch records and approve the release of raw materials, components, and finished products.
- Review and disposition Certificates of Analysis (CoAs), manage material retest/expiry programs, and oversee product and material specifications.
- Lead and coordinate quality investigations, including deviations, complaints, out-of-specification (OOS) results, root cause analyses (RCA), CAPAs, and change controls.
- Prepare, review, and approve quality documentation, including SOPs, controlled forms, master formulas, batch records, specifications, validation documents, technical reports, and study protocols.
- Support quality-related activities across departments by providing guidance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Manage supplier and vendor qualification programs, raw material qualification packages, and specification alignment projects.
- Coordinate environmental monitoring, purified water testing reviews,



and quality trending activities, including Annual Product Reviews (APR).
- Conduct internal audits, facility inspections, and support customer, certification, third-party, and regulatory audits.
- Review production, laboratory, facility, maintenance, sanitation, calibration, and environmental monitoring records to ensure compliance.
- Support Quality Control and Research & Development teams with LIMS activities, testing programs, inventory management, and sample tracking.
- Coordinate production-related quality activities, including batch adjustments, rework/reclaim documentation, lot continuations, and AQL inspections.
- Maintain quality systems and records, including training documentation, temperature/humidity monitoring, quality metrics, and document control.
- Deliver GMP orientation training for new hires and promote continuous improvement through training and operational communications.
- Manage laboratory supply ordering and support departmental operations as required.
- Work in compliance with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate across the Quality team to ensure coverage of all critical quality functions and perform other duties or projects as assigned.

What You Bring You bring curiosity, collaboration, and a desire to do meaningful work. You may bring experience in:

- Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Minimum 2 years of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience in a pharmaceutical, natural health product, nutritional, or food manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, GLP, manufacturing operations, and applicable regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical, food, and natural health products.
- Familiarity with industry standards and compendia, including USP, AOAC, and FCC.
- Experience in soft gel and/or liquid manufacturing is considered an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications; experience with ERP, LIMS, and QMS systems is preferred.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.




- Flexible to work shifts and overtime as required to support operational needs, customer commitments, and project deadlines.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to transport samples between facilities/laboratories when needed.

Compensation

Jamieson Wellness offers a competitive total rewards package designed to support your well-being and professional growth. This includes base pay, eligibility for our Short-Term Incentive Program, and a comprehensive benefits offering.

For this role, the posting range is $45,700 - $68,500 which reflects the full salary range of the position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, level of education, role scope, and other professional qualifications aligned with the requirements and complexity of this position.
