Job Title: Quality Assurance Tech III We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) for a contract position. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, is detail-oriented, and excels at breaking websites.

QAEs collaborate regularly with Developers, Product Managers, and other Quality Engineers to ensure the proper operation of the production environment. During the development cycle, QAEs identify use cases, create test cases, execute tests, and report findings.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and Quality Engineers to ensure the seamless operation of the production environment.
- Identify use cases and create detailed test cases.
- Execute tests and report findings effectively.
- Lead quality planning by determining automation versus manual testing approaches.
- Participate in projects during the requirement phase to provide quality insights.
- Work with existing Prime Q systems for automation and execute manual tests as necessary.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and left-shift quality practices.

Essential Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of industry experience in software testing, including website applications.
- Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and Java.
- Experience with Selenium is highly desired.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience with QA processes and Software Development Life Cycle.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Experience with AI is a plus.
- Capability in leading test planning, execution, and ensuring end-to-end quality for initiatives independently.

Work Environment This position operates in a professional office workplace with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Vancouver, BC.

Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.80/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Vancouver,BC.
