Pay: $18.00/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Mernova Medicinal Inc. is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team on a temporary 1–2 month contract, with the possibility of extension based on operational needs.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a regulated manufacturing environment while contributing to the production of high-quality cannabis products.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct swab testing on production rooms and equipment.

Complete quality process control checks for packaging, labelling, and shipping.

Inspect product packages and labels before shipment.

Verify that all products are accurately accounted for before shipping.

Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Production Practices (GPP), company procedures, and regulatory requirements.

- Assist with shipping, receiving, and other quality-related activities as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.





Knowledge of GMP/GPP or experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Experience with quality assurance, inspections, or document control is considered an asset.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Knowledge of sanitation procedures, PPE, cleanliness monitoring, and the Cannabis Act is an asset.
