UCalgary is seeking a full time Limited Term Project Finance Administrator for a six-month period. In this role, you will provide vital finance support to project holders and ensure timely processing of projects and compliance with guidelines. You will apply your finance and accounting expertise to interpret policies and manage shifting priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review documentation for eligibility and compliance of projects
• Work closely with project holders for account reconciliation
• Advise on project transactions like expense reallocations
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
• Provide timely responses to internal and external inquiries
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting
• Minimum of 3 years in accounting functions
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and ERP systems
• Understanding of Public Sector Accounting Standards
• Enrollment in CPA program is an asset
