Role Description The Quality Inspector is a part time, on-site role based in Windsor, ON. This position is responsible for inspecting incoming, in-process, and finished products to ensure they meet established safety, quality, and performance standards.
Day-to-day tasks include conducting visual and dimensional inspections, documenting findings, identifying nonconformities, and supporting containment activities to prevent defective product from reaching customers. The role also involves following established quality procedures,
communicating issues to supervisors and quality teams, and assisting with corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
The Quality
Inspector will work closely with operations and quality staff to maintain consistent quality levels and support customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control and Inspection to assess products and processes against defined standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Management to support adherence to procedures and continuous improvement activities.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and help determine root causes of quality issues.
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or supply chain environments is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, specifications, and drawings is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and reliable time management are required.
- Comfort working on-site in a production or warehouse environment and collaborating with diverse teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or quality-related training or certifications are an asset.
