Join South Riverdale Community Health Centre as a Health Educator focused on mobile health services. Drive initiatives that connect vulnerable groups with essential healthcare resources.
This full-time contract role prioritizes applicants with a strong background in health education and community engagement. As a Health Promoter, you will lead outreach programs for the Mobile Health Clinic, supporting community members in accessing primary care effectively. You will work within a cooperative team to implement health education strategies and develop resources for diverse populations facing health disparities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate outreach activities for health promotion
• Support the integration of health education in community settings
• Manage mobile clinic operations and logistics
• Identify community health education needs and develop solutions
• Facilitate advocacy efforts for service access
Requirements:
• Relevant post-graduate degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years background in health education
• Valid Ontario Class ‘G’ Driver's License
• Proven ability to work with marginalized groups
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills
