Iron Horse Automotive is an independently owned repair shop committed to providing honest, high-quality automotive service to our customers. We work on a wide variety of makes and models and take pride in delivering reliable repairs, accurate diagnostics, and exceptional customer service.

We are currently seeking a Red Seal Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is motivated, dependable, and comfortable performing everything from routine maintenance to advanced diagnostics and repairs.

Responsibilities

- Perform vehicle inspections and complete digital or written inspection reports
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and drivability concerns
- Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire services, fluid services, and scheduled maintenance
- Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards
- Accurately document findings, recommendations, and completed repairs
- Test drive vehicles when necessary to verify concerns and repairs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with service advisors, management, and customers when required
- Support fellow team members when needed
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and regulations

Qualifications

- Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification
- Valid driver’s license




- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with a wide variety of vehicle makes and models
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Professional attitude and positive work ethic
- Own tools preferred

Experience

- Automotive repair experience required
- Diagnostic experience considered a strong asset
- Experience with scan tools, electrical diagnostics, and drivability concerns
- Inspection license considered an asset
