Job Title: Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician

Territory: British Columbia, Alberta, Yukon, Northwest Territories.

Position Type: Full-Time. 8-hour shift minimum with overtime opportunities.

Role:

- We are seeking a Red Seal certified HD mechanic with experience in repairing, servicing and diagnosing Foundation and/or Rock Drilling equipment.
- Experience with major brands such as Sandvik, CAT, John Deere, Comacchio, ABI, Bauer, and Klemm considered an asset.
- Ability to lift and manage 50 pounds without assistance.
- Preference will be given to applicants who have a minimal 2+ years of experience.
- Willing to travel and be away from home occasionally.
- Willing to work in the field and in remote locations.

Requirements:

- Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Certification.
- Must have own tools.
- Experience with blast hole and production drilling is an asset.




- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
- Must be available to travel for out-of-town field calls.
- Excellent troubleshooting and technical skills.
- Superior mechanical aptitude.
- Shop and/or field work experience.
- Demonstrates commitment to safe work practices.
- Conducts business on behalf of Traxxon in a professional manner.
- First-Aid, Forklift, and other certifications considered an asset.
- Welding ticket/experience considered an asset.
- Experience working on heavy construction equipment with an emphasis in electronics, CAN-bus wiring, hydraulics, powertrains, is desired.
- Can read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics.
