Role Description The Oickle Group is seeking Red Seal Plumbers and Plumbing Apprentices to join our growing team in Bridgewater, NS.

This is a permanent, full-time position working on residential and commercial plumbing projects throughout Bridgewater and surrounding communities. Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $45.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and apprenticeship level.

Team members will install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, and related equipment. Responsibilities will vary based on experience and apprenticeship level.

Red Seal Plumbers will take on more independent service work, troubleshooting, repairs, project coordination, customer communication, and mentorship of apprentices.

Plumbing Apprentices will work alongside experienced tradespeople, gaining hands-on experience while developing their skills and progressing toward Red Seal certification.

Responsibilities

- Install,



repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Diagnose plumbing issues and perform appropriate repairs.
- Install and work with piping, fixtures, valves, and related plumbing equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and service work.
- Follow applicable plumbing codes, safety requirements, and company procedures.
- Read and interpret plans, technical drawings, specifications, and work orders as appropriate to experience level.
- Maintain a professional and respectful approach when working in customers' homes and businesses.
- Complete required job documentation and communicate job progress with the team.
- Coordinate effectively with other trades, contractors, and team members.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.

Qualifications

- Red Seal certification or current registration as a Plumbing Apprentice.
- Residential and/or commercial plumbing experience is an asset.
- Apprentices at various stages of their training are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, plumbing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Experience working with plumbing materials such as copper, PEX, PVC, and related components.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings,



and work orders appropriate to experience level.
- Commitment to safe work practices and compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Professional communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to job sites in Bridgewater and surrounding communities.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the trade, including lifting, bending, climbing, and working in confined spaces.

Compensation

$20.00–$45.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, certification, and apprenticeship level.
