This role will be responsible for managing strategic regional chain accounts in Ontario and driving growth in our food service category. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across functions to deliver sustainable business results aligned with our corporate values and strategic objectives.

Location [BD1] of Work : This is a home-based position based in the greater Toronto area

Salary Range : $69,500 - $119,500

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain long term regional chains, key accounts and distributor relationships, while working within an established budget and maintaining the highest level of customer service.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the customer relationship, ensuring alignment and bringing in resources as needed to support business objectives
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans for the category, achieving mutually beneficial outcomes for Cavendish Farms and our customers
- Meet regularly with customers to review business performance, identify opportunities, and negotiate distribution, pricing, and promotional programs within approved parameters
- Analyze customer and category data to identify trends and opportunities; collaborate with Marketing and Category Management to develop fact-based recommendations.
- Manage financial performance for assigned accounts, including trade investment, profitability, and key financial metrics
- Work cross functionally to solve challenges, improve business, and identify new opportunities
- Own forecasting and demand planning for assigned accounts




- Participate in joint business planning processes with key accounts

Qualifications

- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- 5 years of key account management experience within food service
- Proven success in acquiring and managing strategic accounts
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions
