Role Description This full-time, on-site Registered Behavior Analyst role is based in Durham, ON.
The Registered Behavior
Analyst will assess client needs, develop individualized ABA treatment plans, and supervise the implementation of behavior programs across home, school, and community settings. Daily tasks include conducting functional behavior assessments, collecting and analyzing data, and adjusting interventions to support measurable progress. The role involves coaching and training caregivers and team members in behavior strategies, collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals, and maintaining clear, timely documentation.
The Registered Behavior
Analyst will also support ongoing quality improvement and ensure services align with ethical and professional standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis,
with the ability to design and oversee individualized behavior programs.
- Skills in Parent Education and family coaching to support caregivers in implementing effective strategies in home and daily routines.
- Background in Psychology and Behavior Management to interpret assessment data and respond effectively to a range of behavioral needs.
- Relevant certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or equivalent, and registration or eligibility for registration in Ontario as required.
- Experience working with children and youth, preferably in autism services or developmental support settings.
- Strong observational, data collection, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and outcome tracking.
- Explicit, professional communication skills and ability to collaborate with families, educators, and clinical teams.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, ethical standards, and continuous professional development.
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Analyst (RBA) in Ontario.
