Job Summary
Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care! as a part time for two days Tuesday 11-7 and Thursday 9:30- 5:30 also we can disscus another option, In this energetic role, you will assist dentists during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and support daily clinic operations. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. This paid position offers an exciting prospect to grow your skills in a fast-paced, friendly setting dedicated to excellence in dental health.
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient workflow
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including exams, cleanings, orthodontics, and restorative work
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis
- Manage patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
- Support front desk activities by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist
- Assist with pediatrics and orthodontic cases, adapting techniques to meet specific patient needs
Skills
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Dentrix and Epic to streamline patient information management
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental procedures and patient care
- Experience with orthodontics procedures and supporting orthodontic appliances
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry techniques to create a comfortable experience for young patients
- Strong understanding of dental assisting protocols, including sterilization, infection control, and chairside support
- Ability to operate CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools for digital impressions or appliance fabrication when applicable
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and coordinate with team members
