Job Overview

We are excited to welcome a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to our growing team at our established, patient-focused dental office in the heart of Port Moody! This position is 3–4 days a week, with the opportunity to add additional days in the future if desired. Our office is open Wednesday through Saturday.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. This role requires a robust understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to promoting oral health.

Responsibilities

- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning alongside the dentist.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix.
- Obtain iTero digital scans to provide insight and knowledge for our patients.




- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth patient experience.
- Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring excellent customer service.

Skills

- Proficiency in providing dental hygiene maintenance.
- Knowledge of Invisalign is a plus.
- Strong Customer Service skills to enhance patient interactions.
- Experience working in a Dental Office setting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Dentrix software for managing patient records and scheduling is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of BC
- BLS current
