Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Richmond Hill, ON for a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE). The RECE will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and programs to promote the development and well-being of children. Duties include overseeing daily routines, maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment, observing and documenting developmental progress, and collaborating with families to support each child’s educational and emotional needs.

The RECE will also ensure adherence to licensing regulations and childcare best practices.

Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Development and the ability to apply this expertise in daily activities and educational programs.
- Creativity skills to design engaging, age-appropriate activities and learning experiences for children.




- Experience and comfort in working with children across a variety of age groups, from infants to school age.
- Exceptional organization skills to manage routines, curriculum planning, and documentation of childcare programs.
- Certification as a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) and membership in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Have a current (within 6 months) Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (or willingness to obtain).
- Be up to date with immunizations including a TB Test
- Previous experience in a childcare or early education setting is a strong asset.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.86-$27.00 per hour
