- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate self-care practices
- Document client progress and treatment details accurately in accordance with professional standards
- Communicate clearly with clients to ensure comfort, address questions, and provide exceptional customer service
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and massage therapy techniques
- Excellent customer service skills to foster trust and build lasting client relationships
- Effective communication skills for explaining treatment procedures and listening attentively to client concerns
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Certification as a Registered Massage Therapist from an accredited regulatory body is required
- Nice-to-have: experience working with diverse populations or specialized therapies such as sports massage or injury rehabilitation
