We are looking for a part-time (with hopes to transition to full time) Orthopaedic Physiotherapist to join our midtown Toronto (Yonge & Summerhill) clinic. We are seeking to fulfill current demand as well as an upcoming therapist's leave of absence. We seek therapists who prioritize manual therapy and exercise prescription in our model of care, and who enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.

If a mixed caseload is desired, and candidate has pelvic certification, this would be an asset for this role, but is not necessary. We would love to add a new member to our physiotherapy team, part-time to start, and hope they would seek to grow with us for the long-term.

Position start date is flexible, but seeking to fill the role ASAP.

Our ideal candidate would have the following assets:

-Registered Physiotherapist with valid Ontario licence and > 1-2 years experience. New grads are also welcome to apply!

-Orthopaedic Manual Therapy coursework or past manual therapy mentorship experience, is an asset.

-Complementary coursework in other post-graduate streams (may include other advanced manual therapy training, myofascial techniques, dry needling, acupuncture, concussion management, vestibular rehabilitation, pelvic coursework).

-Pelvic Health Physiotherapist with Levels I & II/III coursework completed or active pursuit (incontinence and pelvic pain), would be an asset given a mixed caseload is available, but is not a requirement for this role.

-Professional and polished demeanor, who brings a positive energy to the clinic. A “people-person” who cultivates a nurturing and enjoyable environment for both patients and staff.

-An interest in sharing knowledge and engaging in team-based patient care with our other Physiotherapists (ortho, pelvic, neuro, cancer, lymphatic and yoga, are our areas of specialization at this location), Massage Therapists, and Osteopaths, and working with an interesting and diverse caseload.

Requirements

- Valid registration as a Physiotherapist in Ontario; currently living in the city of Toronto (we are not considering candidates with long commutes from outside the city).
- Experience in the private practice setting.
- Ability to provide manual therapy, tailored home exercise programming, and education, with ability to develop effective and comprehensive plans of care.
- An interest in working with a diverse patient population including youth, adults, geriatrics, ranging from acute conditions and injuries to chronic issues or goals.
- A desire to provide exceptional patient-centered physiotherapy and take an adaptable approach to tailor treatments to best suit the patient's needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $7,000.00-$9,000.00 per month
