Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. This position requires a solid understanding of medical terminology and medication administration, as well as the ability to work effectively in a community environment.

Responsibilities

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles.
- Provide information to patients regarding their medications and health concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety standards.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Perform medication administration under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.




- Participate in patient care initiatives and health education programs.

Experience

- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred, particularly in a community setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmacy operations is essential.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare staff.
- Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese and Vietnamese is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is a required.
