Job Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Rehabilitation Assistant, where you will play a vital role in supporting patient recovery and enhancing their quality of life. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate patient care, assist with therapeutic activities, and ensure smooth daily operations within rehabilitation and acute care settings. Duties

- Assist licensed healthcare professionals in implementing patient treatment plans and therapeutic exercises
- Support patients with daily activities, mobility, and personal care to foster independence and comfort
- Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and supplies for therapy sessions, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Document patient progress accurately using electronic health records and case management systems
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to coordinate care and address concerns
- Maintain mechanical knowledge of assistive devices and medical equipment used in rehabilitation processes
- Contribute to organizational tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient files, and supporting administrative duties

Requirements

- Proven experience in hospital or healthcare environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel,



and Word processing tools for documentation and communication purposes
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual skills, especially in French or other relevant languages, to serve diverse patient populations effectively
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, nursing practices, and case management principles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and empathetically
- Mechanical knowledge related to medical devices or assistive technology used in rehabilitation therapy
- Demonstrated organizational skills with effective time management and analysis capabilities to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure in rapid-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
