Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Warehouse Team Lead to oversee afternoon-shift warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and warehouse employees.

The ideal candidate must have hands‑on Order Picker experience and strong knowledge of cycle counts, inventory control, FIFO, WMS/ERP systems, RF scanners, shipping and receiving, and Excel reporting.

This role is well suited for an experienced Warehouse Team Lead, Warehouse Lead Hand, Warehouse Supervisor, or Senior Shipper/Receiver ready to take the next step in warehouse leadership.

Responsibilities

- Lead daily warehouse operations on the Afternoon Shift.
- Manage approximately 5 warehouse employees and 1 Team Lead.
- Assign work, monitor productivity, and ensure shift targets are achieved.
- Oversee shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, staging, and material movement.
- Perform cycle counts, inventory counts, FIFO, and inventory control.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Use WMS/ERP systems, including Koerber, for warehouse and inventory transactions.
- Use RF scanners and warehouse technology.




- Prepare reports and extract data from Excel for inventory and warehouse reporting.
- Operate Order Picker, Raymond Reach, and Cherry Picker equipment as required.
- Train and support warehouse employees while maintaining a protected and productive workplace.
- Ensure SOPs and Health & Safety procedures are followed.
- Communicate operational and inventory issues to Warehouse Management.

Requirements

- 5+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in a Team Lead, Lead Hand, Supervisor, or senior warehouse role.
- Hands‑on Order Picker experience is required.
- Experience operating Raymond Reach and Cherry Picker is strongly preferred.
- Strong shipping and receiving experience.
- Hands‑on experience with inventory control, cycle counts, inventory counts, and FIFO.
- Previous experience leading or managing warehouse employees.
- Experience with WMS/ERP systems; Koerber experience is an asset.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills, including extracting data from Excel.
- Experience using RF scanners.
- Tech‑savvy and comfortable using warehouse systems and technology.
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Must be comfortable working the Afternoon Shift.
