TherolefocusesonprovidingtechnicalaccountingexpertisetotheexecutiveteamofBioriginal,whilesupportingaccountingoperationsacrosstheorganization.Theroleservesasakeyaccountingresource,providingguidanceandmentorshiptoteammembersandapplyingacontinuousimprovementmindsettoenhanceaccountingprocessesandreportingsystems.TheSeniorAccountantplaysanimportantroleinsupportingthefinancialhealthoftheorganization. Preparesandassistswithpreparationofmonth-endandyear-endfinancialstatements. EnsurestheCompanyisfollowingaccountingbestpractices. Performsvarianceanalysisandpreparesaccountreconciliations. Generatesvariousaccountingandfinancialreportstomeettheneedsofthebusiness. Providesgeneraloversighttovariousaccountingfunctions,includingaccountspayable,accountsreceivable,generalledgerandtaxes. Analyzestransactionaldataandpreparesjournalentriesasappropriate. AssistswithsubsidiaryandparentCompanyconsolidations,includinginternationalsubsidiaries. Assessandrecommendsimprovementsinaccountingproceduresandsystems.



Assessinternalcontrols(includingriskassessments)andprovidesrecommendationswheregapsexist. Assistswithfinancialandtaxaudits. Staysontopbestpractices,trends,changinglegislationandensurestheCompanyisincompliance. Providesleadershipandguidancetojunioraccountingstaffasrequired. Participatesinspecialprojects,systemimplementations,financialanalysisandotherrequestsasneeded. Skills, ExperienceandEducation:

Bachelor’sdegreeinAccountingisrequired. CPAdesignation(oractivelyworkingtowards)ispreferred. Minimumof2-5yearsofrelatedexperienceisrequired,withpreviousleadershipexperiencepreferred. ProficiencyinutilizingERPsystems,accountingsoftwareandMicrosoftexcelisrequired. Excellentanalyticalandproblem-solvingskillsrequired. Cashflowmanagement Strongattentiontodetailandaccuracyisrequired. Abilitytoworkbothindependentlyandaspartofateam. Robust collaboration and communication skills required.
