Become an Operator Tech 4 with AltaGas at the Ridley Island Propane Export Terminal. This role focuses on safely managing LPG railcar offloading and terminal operations.
Reporting to the Lead Operator, the successful candidate will oversee day-to-day operations including offloading LPG railcars and ensuring safety protocols are followed. You will perform railcar inspections, document activities, and participate in emergency response efforts. Your technical skills and safety commitment will directly support the terminal’s operations and contribute to global propane exports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily offloading of LPG railcars safely • Conduct railcar inspections and confirm mechanical integrity • Document and report safety incidents and operating conditions • Participate in Emergency Response Team duties • Execute unloading procedures and maintain housekeeping
Requirements: • High School Diploma or GED • Minimum 2+ years of experience in railcar operations • Railcar Safety & Securement certification required • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools • Valid Class 5 Driver's License needed
