GFL is looking for a Clean Energy Commercial Operations & Compliance Specialist either in Vaughan, ON, or remotely in the U.S. This role involves managing the lifecycle of Landfill Gas to Renewable Natural Gas projects through effective coordination and compliance. You will translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable workflows, ensuring effective communication across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Track reporting obligations for federal and state programs
• Coordinate logistics for Renewable Identification Numbers transactions
• Manage workflows for Quality Assurance Plan requirements




• Facilitate documentation for third-party engineering reviews
• Support new market compliance registrations in environmental sectors
Requirements:
• Degree in Environmental Policy or related field
• 2+ years in renewable energy or waste management
• Familiarity with RFS, RINs, and EMTS frameworks
• Proven experience in project timeline management
• Solid technical writing and communication skills
