As a member of Springboard's Youth Community Justice Services, you will play a pivotal role in supporting youth ages 12-24. You will handle case assessments, program development, and facilitate group sessions focused on essential life skills. This role is deeply rooted in trauma-informed practices and aims to connect young people with community resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage intake and case planning for youth
• Develop and deliver engaging group programs
• Foster supportive relationships with participants
• Implement crisis prevention and de-escalation techniques
• Collaborate with partners like the TDSB for programming
Requirements:
• Diploma in Social Work or Youth Work
• At least 2 years of related experience
• Familiarity with the youth justice system
• Proven group facilitation abilities
• Successful Vulnerable Sector Screening
