Lead an enriching before and after school program at PLASP Child Care Services in Sheridan Park Public School. As the Acting Program Director, you will implement activities that foster children's growth and well-being.
This important role requires you to maintain a safe and caring atmosphere while planning diverse programs for children aged up to 12. You'll support staff development through strong leadership, ensure compliance with the Child Care Early Years Act, and manage daily administration tasks. Your experience and passion for children’s education will directly influence their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish a protected and nurturing environment for children • Develop and implement age-appropriate programs • Budget and prepare nutritious meals following Canada Food Guidelines • Supervise and train staff, volunteers, and students • Maintain program records and compliance with licensing standards
Requirements: • Minimum 3 years’ experience in child care settings • ECE degree/diploma and RECE registration • Valid Standard First Aid/CPC Certificate • Criminal Reference Check for Vulnerable Sector • Health requirements must be fulfilled
